Our God reigns!!!
Yes He does. I take great comfort in knowing that God is in control.
He was in control when He formed the stars and the ground and the animals and MAN!
He was in control when He raised kings that honored Him and when they did not.
He was in control when I was born, got married, had children and...
He was in control when Larson was created and born on January 22, 2008---the
35th Anniversary of Right to life day, no mistake there? Right?
He has never lost control. I truly know God already knew who would win last nigght! I am comfortable that I voted for a man who would aligned with my beliefs about life,a man that understands what it means to fight and protect our country. That man did not win. I stuck by my convictions and what God has called us to in His Word.
That being said I will be praying for our President and the leadership in this country that were elected. I will pray for the decisions they will be having to make. I will continue to pray for the protection of all the unborn children.
I continue to trust that our God reigns. My hope remains the same as it did the day I found out my son would not live on this earth, for the 17 weeks that I carried him unto his death and the day I had to say good-bye. My hope is in the only thing that will never change and will walk with me through the valleys and the peaks. That hope is in Christ. Life will continue to have its peaks and valleys, but I will continue to trust Him, obey Him and put my hope in Him and Him only. I will continue to know that He is
Our God reigns! Nothing is hidden from Him!

joining you....
Well said Corie. Praise God for the hope we have...we do not need to rely on any one king....only the King!
He does Reign!
Corie-
As everyone else has said- AMEN! I too have been praying for our president-elect, that God would fill him with uncanny wisdom, insight and conviction about those things that are most important- LIFE. Also praying that he won't accomplish all that he promised during the campaign, those things that compromise the morality and integrity of this country.
Praying, praying, praying!

Beautifully written Corie and I agree with you completely. I felt this same way when I woke up Tuesday morning the 4th, and it was raining here in So. California. It felt like Gods tears to me. We just need to continue trusting Him more and praying as His plans are perfect. And I will especially continue praying for all of the unborn children, our future.
Love, Laurie in Ca.
Just a thought...
Not all Christians are Republican...
Dear Anonymous,
Thank you for your comment. I don't think anywhere in my post I mention my political affiliation. In addition to your comment...not all Republicans are Christians. I simply said I voted for the man whose values and agenda aligned most to mine.
Obviously I am pro-life, but most importantly I am pro-God. I also want you to know I have many family and friends who are both Republican and Democrat. I repect that as my family and friends, they are willing to share with me their opinions openly. We don't agree on everything, and just because we share our opinions does not mean I can no longer be their friend.
I obviously have a public blog and you know who I am, unfortuately I don't really know who I am talking to. I hope you know that if you want to talk to me you can also email me. I am not here to judge you or anyone else on their political affiliation or opinions. I would not want that job, I'll leave that up to the Creator of all of us! I do feel that I can share my views on issues just as freely as you!
Thank you again for sharing...
